A very common mistake I used to make when editing photos was that I always saved the resulted image over the original one. Recently, I learned that you can restore the authentic images by using adequate tools like JPEG Recovery.
Handling this application won't require a high level of specific knowledge, as its interface is simple and with a small number of buttons.
As far as I can see, the program does an incredible job recovering all lost images and, regardless the size of the scanned folder, you don't have to wait too long for the results.
No matter what their format is, the photos will be immediately recovered and copied to any indicated location. I would like to see more of this application, like a preview window for the found images before launching the restore process or an option to sort the results after setting a criteria.
However, my belief is that just the result itself might not be enough to motivate users into fully-acquiring the application; personally, I would pay this much only if the program would support more multimedia formats and help me recover lost movies or text documents.
